So easy to install. Listen for the snaps in place. Holds phone amazing. Retractable with a push of a button. Comes with everything you need to install. Fits amazing. Perfect. Design is nice as well. Works amazing no issues. Made to last. Husband loves it for driving with gps or playing music.

As others have stated, the vent clip is metal but the phone holder is plastic. However, it does securely hold my phone (iPhone 15 pro max). I did replace the phone holder with a MagSafe ring that connected to the mount’s ball joint. This combination is the perfect. The metal vent ball mount is fantastic. It is secure, does not move, and even better allows me to still adjust the vent to direct air without any issue. This thing is my new favorite mount and I highly recommend it.

This mount was easy to install and is sturdy despite being mostly plastic. I like the expanding arms and the arms that fold down to hold the base of the phone. My phone is secure in this mount and it’s easy to plug in the charging cord if needed.

There’s a lot wrong here.
Yes it fits the vehicle fine. That’s where the positives end.
– The “all metal construction” is just the mount. The actual phone holder is all plastic.
– The “Thick Cases / Big Phones Friendly” design touted here barely fits my Otterbox.
– The “Latest Auto-Opening Design” picture clearly seems to indicate that all three points open when you push the button on the back (3 blue arrows in the picture). The bottom folding clip does not. You have to put pressure on it from your phone to get the clip to come down. Every time. My phone’s weight alone didn’t always activate the clip. If it’s not part of the automated process it should be a static piece that never moves after setting it. Very inconvenient.
– The tightening screw that holds the mount on the ball joint loosened twice already so the phone slumped down in the holder. That’s not good.
This one’s my fault but FYI – it’s not a surface charger. It looks like one. Almost every car mount these days looks like this and is a charger. It is not. If you impulsively buy looking at pictures and the blurb descriptions you may think it too. I just wanted you to know that. Not a positive or negative. Just my $0.02.
I only had it for 2 days… it’s already gone and replaced.

Like some other reviews I’ve read, it definitely isn’t metal. Only the mount is metal.
I don’t have a big case on my phone, so it does fit my phone fine, I have a standard lightweight silicone case, and there is a tiny bit more space on the bottom.
With the holder being plastic I would have to say it’s not worth the $35 price tag. And is also why the 3 star rating.
I haven’t had issues of my phone falling out yet, but I haven’t had it installed that long.

Very disappointed in the design and make of this holder. As time passes people are more inclined towards holders which don’t require hard assembly and carry a bulky appearance.
The thing that I found wrong with this holder is the fact that we have to manually attach the holder to the dashboard and it could potentially damage the surface of it.
The front area of the holder works fine I only had to lodge the ball bearing area in the slot provided that was the easy part however attaching it to the dashboard was a really complicated task due to which I gave it a lowered star rating.
