Not all microphones will work , make sure you get the one your head unit calls for .
I had purchased a universal mic first to save money and it didn’t function with my head unit .
This mic however works like it should with my pioneer AVH-2330NEX head unit . This mic picks up sound crystal clear so I can be heard without having to repeat myself while on hands free calls .
The only thing I didn’t like is the mounting clip which could be better so I mounted the mic with zip ties .

The microphone was a gift for a friends birthday & I will recommend this time & time again.
He installed microphone with ease, very long cord made him happy, he had options as to how & where he mounted mic. Made of durable wire and picks up on his voice without background noise coming through when I call.

I am now able to use my hands free mic in my car while driving thanks to this device and I did it myself. It was super easy and I m not an automotive person. You will need tools and some patience to hook it up, it has to be hooked into the back of your car stereo, then cords hid in the trim and along inside of dashboard, but it’s super easy on my Acura MDX. I LOVE this device.

This bluetooth mic works great.I purchased a used pioneer double din radio but it didnt come with the bluetooth mic for hands free calling.So I checked, found, and purchased this one.It came with plenty of wire for routing through vehicle.I mounted mines in my headliner.If needed, I would buy this mic again.

Does what it’s meant to. Easy enough to hook up with a very long cable making routing a breeze.
If anything, the noise cancellation could be better as it is sometimes difficult for the other party of a call to hear me when using the mic for Bluetooth calls while driving although the mic is located on the A-pillar, aproximately 30cm from my face.
