Old one tested open on ohmmeter, replaced with this one and my AC is working great. There is a Schrader valve underneath it so when you remove the old one the only pressure you loose is what’s between that and the sensor no need to drain or refill freon.

The product was no good, after installing which was easy I had my system recharged and the freon leaked out. The freon leaked out threw the sensor, eventhough it was replaced easy it was leaking. I’m not driving all the way to a Whole Foods store to send back a $16 piece, so I’ll just purchase from Autozone.
