I bought this assembly in desperation as my power window failed in the down position just as our New England winter weather approached. Tired of listening to the shrink wrap flap manically as I drove to work each day, I finally brought the truck to a Nissan dealer who for a $110 diagnostic fee told me I needed the motor and regulator replaced. Their quote was a $500 for parts and $250 for labor.
After getting this part from Amazon in 2 days (thank you Prime) and opting for the used part vs. new, I spent $28.
4 hours later ( I’m no mechanic) I had it buttoned up and working perfectly. Slight alignment problem when installing, but no big deal.
YouTube videos helped me immensely. Only sorry I wasted the $110 on the obvious, but like a lot of folks who don’t ever pull their cars apart, I figured this kind of thing was too complicated. It ain’t!

I am going to come off like a salesman but TYC is the one you want to buy. I made the mistake of buying a Dorman window regulator, they use a OEM picture, and don’t let you know when you purchase it that it may not be the same one you have in your vehicle. I called Dorman and said I was confused because stamped in the part was the correct part number but the electrical connections were not the same. Dorman used a pigtail wire, and when I called their customer service they had an attitude saying if it could have plugged in I should have just used it, also saying they change motor and electrical designs to save money but don’t change the OEM picture. The TYC is a factory OEM style and I am very happy, works great.

The product would have been wonderful…..EXCEPT, the power end of the plug is not the same as that used on the 2011 Model Nissan Pathfinder. Fortunately for my situation, my motor was not bad, but the mechanism with the cable had become frayed and noisy. Using the frame of this unit and the motor of my existing, I was able to piece together a solution to my immediate problem. Not what I expected .

Part was not sufficiently powered to return the window to the up position. Really disappointed to have had to reére the part and it not work. Do not waste time with this replacement part.

Cheaper regulators were available but according to some reviews needed to be modified. This one fit perfectly in my 2010 Nissan Frontier.
I did have to cut the cables on the old regulator to lower the window, but install was pretty easy. No modifications needed!

I bought this for my 2007 Nissan Xterra. Great fit, good quality. The only potential issue is that the window now moves up slower than all the others. Motor may be just a little underpowered, but it works as advertised.

Window works alright auto functions worked for ip and down but up speed took at least double the time of the oem window regs.

The window motor went out on me with the window DOWN. Summer in Florida…NOT GOOD. Ordered this part. Got it in 2 days. Pulled the door apart. Got the dead regulator assembly out and…NOPE. The PigTail less design does not work for my Pathfinder. I believed I could just splice the existing pigtail on to the new part. NOPE. See attached picture.
The part looks well made and came very well packaged but it does not work for my 2012 Pathfinder. The parts checker on Amazon confirmed it would…as did the item description.

The part on the top is the original motor. (Wire feeding directly through the metal cover on the motor) The part on the bottom is the TYC 660316. The motors are very different. It may be annoying but, were I you, I would pull the old regulator out before ordering this part.
