I bought this item as a few others have as a cheap alternative to the “Stealerships” Price of the same item.
Item was a perfect fit for my 2003 Honda Accord, and installation was a breeze, took no longer than 15 minutes.
The car is a spare and driven sparingly ( less than 100 miles a month ) and primarily used for friends who come to town to use while they visit.
Today, one month after purchase I went for drive in the car, and in Southern California our weather is great, so I decided to roll the window down half way; worked fine… Went to roll it back up, nothing.
Called Amazon about this and they are sending a replacement free of charge and a shipping label for return ( Prime Perk ), but now the car sits inside the garage with the window half down, while our Mercedes sits outside in the elements awaiting the replacement. ( I know, OH NOES! lol )
I would of given this item a 5 star rating if it didn’t fail, and I will revisit this rating after the replacement is installed with some usage on it.
The quality of the item at hand is again a perfect fit, mechanisms are great, just the motor is the issue, so buyers please be aware.
This may just be a fluke, and I received a defective motor, but I would assume there would be some type of QC on the motors used under load, not just tested to see if it works.
A motor failure with less than a dozen uses is poor quality control.

This fit perfectly in my 2007 Honda Accord, and works just as well as the original. I would not have attempted this repair if not for online YouTube videos, which show you exactly what to do. The install was easier and faster than I expected. Don’t waste your money at an auto repair shop, you can do this!

My window regulator broke, motor worked but window wouldn’t go up or down. Disassembled my door, replaced the regulator with this one, and it worked perfectly!

Bought this for my 2003 Accord. It fits the door perfectly, and is going strong a month later (I didn’t have the “dead after 12 uses” problem someone else mentioned). I added some lithium grease to the tracks because they squeeked initially, but now it’s quiet as can be.

Obvious effort and care went into the packaging. I am very impressed with how the unit was packaged and boxed. The shipment arrived super fast, and I mean SUPER fast. As for the unit itself – I found it necessary to enlarge the holes in the door so the bottom two bolt holes on the regulator could be lined up and accessed. Other than needing to drill those two holes, all the other secure points were fine, and the unit fit fine.
As for rating the unit – If it weren’t for this extra work, my review would be 5 Stars (Overall) and 5 Stars for “Easy To Install”. 4 Stars rating remains for Value, as the price is somewhat in line with other vendors. I would recommend this window regulator and motor unit, and I would patronize this vendor again..
