I bought this to a Subaru Legacy and did not have high expectations. Just wanted to save some money compared to buying the original part. In fact I hesitated buying this blower, but now I’m glad I did. The pictures on Amazon does not justify its actual build quality which is no less than the original blower assembly. It fitted perfectly and runs quiet and efficiently. Very good buy !!

Very happy. A perfect fit

Went bad in exactly 12 months. Warranty process is a joke. Better off getting it at your local store so it can be returned and actually replaced under warranty without you having to ship this and pay for that while you have no ac during the hottest part of year. No thanks. No issues returning to your autozones or advance autos etc.

Easy install for an 05 Subaru Legacy GT. I was experiencing the whining high pitched noise when the blower was on lower speeds, but it turns out the main cause of that was the blower motor resistor. So if you buy this and the noise persists, try swapping that out.

Purchased to replace a loud blower assembly in a 2004 Toyota Rav4
Installation was slightly awkward due to the placement under the passenger glove box but otherwise easy!
-disconnect the power cable (look for locking tab, which you need to depress)
-remove 3 screws,
-the original blower is out.
-reverse to install new blower
Pros
-Much cheaper than a auto parts store
-Perfect fit
-build quality looks nicer than the OEM part
-Quiet
-Well packaged
Cons
None

Reading the ups and downs on the reviews, I thought I’d give it a try. Our old motor was grumbling, then it would sometimes stop and I’d have to kick the bottom of the dash. Luck had it, the day this arrived, it died completely. It’s pretty easy to change. If you look under the glove box, there is a black kick panel with three push in retainers. Pull those out and work the cover out of the kick panel and you have direct access to the fan motor. The back screw is a pain to get to but not impossible. Only three screws hold it in. Unclip the wires and you’ve got it in your hand. It looked EXACTLY like the old one. Same exact moldings in the plastic housing. I found the fan to have much more air flow and it was very quiet. Well, not when running on full speed but boy does it move air! Very satisfied. If it dies, I’ll come back and update this review but at this point it was money well spent and a very easy repair. That’s one thing I like about this car. It does seem to constantly need something worked on, but every single thing we’ve done including the axles were pretty simple. Well designed car for the mechanics aspect.

Part was so much cheaper than ordering from Toyota and is identical. Installed it in a 2004 Rav 4 without having to do much besides take out 3 screws. Super easy to do and it works like a champ with increased power and quiet as a mouse. Not sure if the old one lost power over time but it did make a racket so this is an upgrade.

Put this in a 2005 Toyota RAV4. The old one was making a squeaky noise so replaced the fan and the module and works great. Fan blows out more air than before and a great value.

Works fine. Silent enough.

This is a perfectly serviceable blower motor assembly for a 2009 Subaru Outback. It fits in just like the OEM version and blows air reliably and quietly. Construction doesn’t seem that different from the OEM. Both blowers have plastic vanes, and the rest of the assembly seems of similar quality to the original.
The first unit I received had a bad bearing, making more noise than the unit it was replacing. So, before buttoning things up, test the unit. But, exchanging the unit was easy through my local Kohl’s, and the replacement was at my home the next day. So, Prime _does_ pay.
