I don’t claim to be a professional car detailer, but I do appreciate a good tool to make my work easier when I do want to detail my truck during the weekend. The towels I used before was a standard terry cloth towel which, coincidentally, were the same towels I used to dry off my dog after a bath. Now, I have a dedicated drying towel (more like two towels) to dry off my truck. I use these towels in conjunction with a vehicle squeegee to dry my vehicle off fairly quickly. These towels are fairly plush on one side with microfiber fabric and grippy on the backside to retain control of the towel. I find that I can dry off my truck mostly with just one towel (when used with my vehicle squeegee). Now I can detail my truck when needed without finding a towel that I used to dry off my dog. At roughly 3 foot by 2 foot these towels are good drying option when detailing my vehicle.

We car care nuts obsess over just the right products to keep our rolling stock pristine, and there are numerous companies that cater to our obsession. Since a clean finish is the root of all detailing, every session starts with a wash and subsequent drying.
This large, ~ 835 sq. in., single-sided drying towel is a huge step in convenience when drying my full-size truck. I use a spray product on the wet surfaces to help break the water’s surface tension, and then this super-absorbent towel just sucks it up so well that the result is an almost bone-dry surface. It is so large that you have to fold it somewhat to use it, so it doesn’t hit the ground and pick up abrasives, and the fact that it is one sided makes it easier to handle when folded into a big square.
It has just enough capacity to do the whole truck, although I do remove the biggest puddles from the horizontal surfaces with a swipe of my hand before soaking the remainder up with this large microfiber mat.
Reading another review that mentioned a lot of lint on first use, I blew it out thoroughly with a compressed air blow gun before first use and I had no lint that I could see.
Once it is fully soaked after use, it is quite heavy and logically takes a while to dry in open air, even if you squeeze it out the best you can. That’s where it’s nice that it comes in a pack of two. I find these towels to be as good as the one I received with my premium brand car wash kit, and significantly less costly.
They are super soft and nicely hemmed with a soft border, although I have a drying towel that is borderless and it works perfectly too. Overall, I look forward to many uses from this apparently well-made and very absorbent drying towel.

These towels are awesome for drying off my truck. They’re a great size and soak up way more water than your average microfiber towel.
The listing says one towel can dry a whole car, and maybe that’s true for something small, but with my truck, I definitely need both to get the job done right.
What I really like is how soft and plush one side of the towel is—it doesn’t scratch the paint and leaves no lint behind. The only thing I’d change is the other side, which is smoother and not as absorbent. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’d be nice if both sides were the same plush material.
All in all, though, they’re a solid buy. They hold a ton of water, make drying quick and easy, and honestly feel just as good as some of the more expensive ones I’ve used—just without the steep price tag. Glad I picked them up.

The 2 pack of Twist Drying Towels from the Boss Detail Store are very absorbent and work well at drying my SUV. The microfiber towels are a decent size (35.4″ by 23.6″) and are great at drying. The website claims you can dry your entire car with one towel. Perhaps that might be true for a small compact, but that’s definitely not true for my Mazda CX90. The two towels combined, however, are capable of drying my SUV. My only complaint is that I wish both sides of the towels were made of the woven microfiber. Instead, the back side is smooth and not nearly as absorbent.
