Ian McCutcheon –
My teenage son’s 2007 Ford Fusion rear passenger side window started dropping as he drove around so I ordered this. When I opened the box, the part looked like the proper part based on what I had seen in pictures. I pulled up a YouTube video by TRQ about how to remove and install the part (which I highly recommend as you need to drill out rivets to remove the old one). After following the directions on the video, I removed the old assembly and prepped the new one.
The process of installing the new part is pretty straightforward as long as you pay attention to the removal of the motor. I saw a review saying that this part did not fit properly. IF you remove the motor with the bracket, it will NOT install correctly. IF you remove the motor and leave the bracket attached to the rest of the assembly, everything will work and fit well. Another thing is tightening the clamps onto the window. The video showed the clamps being cranked down very tight onto the window. This made me nervous as I was worried about breaking the window, but you do need to clamp the window down tightly to make sure it is secured to the assembly.
Overall, this is a pretty straightforward repair and the window works great. I took my time and it was somewhere around an hour. Good product so far.

I bought this part for my 2007 Ford fusion and no matter how I angled it, I could not get it to fit. The holes were in completely different spots than the original motor.
In the pictures the white one is the original and the black one is the new one.
