The top was different than factory and because of that, the o-ring did not fit correctly, causing it to not seal within the fuel rail. Numerous attempts were made and each time they sprayed out fuel past the top o-rings. Finally annoyed, decided to go to the parts store to buy better o-rings to see if it would fit. As I pulled one out from the manifold, the bottom of the injector came off, lodging itself into the injector hole.
These are very poor aftermarket injectors and I can no longer return them since they’re used. $200+ down the drain. Spend the money and get factory or the factory remans from motorwestperfomance. You definitely get what you paid for here.

I had one stuck closed, and they were the factory injectors on my 05 Expedition with 150k on them. Figured time to replace them all. They came individually packaged with plastic protectors on both ends. O-rings on then were nice. Did the trick. Vehicle runs great!
Not much on this engine is easy, but there’s ways to do it to make it easier.

My 2004 scion xb was having some issues (check engine ligh on) P0171 system running too lean.
Also a bit of lock of power, right after I replaced the fuel injectors the computer live data readings (fuel trim) came back to normal, I didn’t erase the codes from the computer, the computer itself reset the light off after some drive cycles, also the performance has been restored. The fuel injectors don’t come with the seals, so you have to get them separately, but they totally worth it.

I purchased four fuel injectors for my truck along with several leather items to potentially fix every other problem. After getting all the parts together, some of them coming from a dealer, some from online some from a local parts store it took a while to get everything together. After everything arrived, I put all the parts on the truck. After starting it up, it ran as bad or worse than it ever did so I had no idea what the problem could be because I didn’t have the tools to diagnose it so I took it to the local repair shop and had them diagnose it and fix whatever problem there was.
It turned out to be a faulty, fuel injector purchased from TRQ parts online. Due to the fact that I was already without my truck for almost a month I had the fuel injector replaced.
The problem was that I didn’t have an idea that they wouldn’t stand behind the product. Even though it cost me a lot of money to have that one fuel injector replaced, which by the way fixed the vehicle. I had to wait an additional time to get it done. That put me past the 30 days for a refund or replacement.Due to the fact that I didn’t need another part. Their only option was to send me a replacement part which was useless. These are much cheaper then the ones that you would purchase at the dealership. They seem to work and fit well. My car was having a rough time starting when cold in the morning and after installing these it starts fine now so I will recommend these to others.
