Works great! Replaced my 07 Cadillac Escalade bushing with this. At 1st it kept falling out upon installation. However, it’s because I didn’t have the bushing all the way into the little metal groove to avoid it slipping off. So please be sure to install it all the way correctly!! It should NOT come off if done correctly. Hope this helps someone.

I have a 2012 Chevy Avalanche and this was just what I needed for the repair. The shift linkage had come loose because the other grommet had broken and this Grommet worked perfect. I didn’t know it at the time, but I didn’t end up needing the U-shaped plastic piece so if you have the same truck as me, I would suggest buying another kit that just has the grommets.

I ordered this part, because the original, which lasted 10 years finally gave out. After a decade of hard work. I ordered this part on Amazon, and received it in a timely fashion. When I looked at it, it appeared more flimsy than the original. And I hoped it would last, but knew it definitely wouldn’t give me 10 years. I was hoping for at least 10 months, but unfortunately it. It gave me 10 hours before it failed and left me on the side of the road stranded at night. Don’t waste your money or time on this product. You will regret it.
