For the price you can’t beat these. Although they are made in China knockoffs of the OE Toyota transmission shift solenoids; they are constructed very well, and so far have not created any engine or transmission control module codes. Chances are these are the same shift solenoids as the ones brick and mortar parts suppliers (Oreilly, Autozone, Napa, Etc) sell as their “house brand”. 4 Stars as for I have only had them installed for about a week and time will tell if they are truly a 5 Star product.

I was skeptical at first but the price was enticing. My Camry would not move in any direction any gear. It started with what felt like slipping, then there was a buzz noise, soon I couldn’t go pass 25 mph, then the check engine light came, and then recently I went to move the car into the garage and it wouldn’t go anywhere.
After some trouble shooting I felt it was a single or multiple shift solenoids. Rather than take my chances and replace one, I opted for all of them. I ordered these here and got them all swapped in a half day. It wasn’t the easiest but it also wasn’t very hard. It’s a messy experience for sure and if you’ve never done it research before you try. This was my first time!
I’m happy to report the solenoids worked! After putting everything back together, I started the car, shifted into all the gears with my foot firm on the brake… and behold I put it in drive and foot off the brake and the car sprung forward with life!
It’s been three weeks and I have been driving around town and on the highway. So far it rides smooth and no problems.
I have noticed it seems to shift a tad bit hard at times but I feel the tranny might need to relearn my driving habits and/or the new solenoids need to break in. Did I mention I got 210k on the odometer. Hoping I can get 100k more with out issues.

My previous problem was the 4th gear will not engage. This replacement does not allow the reverse or nuetral to engage. Car rather moves forward when gear is in REVERSE? How so? Complete waste of time, money and resources. Now, I have to pay another mechanic to dismantle the useless part & return them for what? 10% only for what I am paying in labor for junk?
