This is a different style than I typically use, or have seen available for the 4L60E for that matter. The soft pliable rubber completely covers the metallic frame within, making it stiff enough to hold it’s shape and soft enough to seal the pan to body contact.
Right out of the box and on to the transmission the gasket is performing fine. Some time and heat cycles will be needed to determine its overall value.
With a price about average for this gasket, the initial performance suggests that it is a worthy purchase. If any premature failure occurs, this review will be updated.

It comes on a thick piece of heavy cardboard, double wrapped in clear plastic. It is just as the Ad pictures it.
Fits the 700R4 or 4L60
This has a steel core and it is very rigid. It is not floppy at all and stays flat.
It measures 0.190 thick uncompressed, so about 3/16 inch thick.
These reusable gaskets have really improved my life because I absolutely Hate oil leaks.
I don’t care if it’s a ratty old Chevy and it leaked when it rolled off the assembly line, it’s 2024 and we have the knowledge and technology to stop oil leaks!
If you are serious about your Hot Rod you need these type gaskets in your life too.

This gasket appears to be the same as the Moroso gasket , it made in China that might cause customers to rethink ordering it.

Very similar to the more famous brand, in fact, perhaps they come from the same factory. You’ll see mixed reviews for the more famous version from “Great” to “Won’t stop leaking”. Ultimately this style of gasket works very well if you use them on flat, clean surfaces that are reasonably true and you correctly tighten the fasteners. (They work well on good quality cast aluminum pans but not so well on steel or aluminum pans that are warped.)

Impressed with the quality. Worth the extra bucks for this gasket, no leaks! Easy to fit on the pan and lines up great with all of the transmission pan bolts . PS if you are having a hard time getting the 4l60e pan off, use a TORK40 bit to loosen the shifting cable bracket on the drivers side above the transmission , instead of unbolting and moving around the exhaust. Trust me.
