This thing works great. Simple operation.

i bought one of these a few weeks ago and liked it so much i bought another, at a better price by looking around. this is apparently a manufactured item from China that gets badge names printed on the face so if you look around you can get the exact same item for half what some are charging.
the unit itself charges initially at that sweet spot of 12 amp, and automatically decreases as internal resistance decreases. so it is fully automatic and perfect for maintaining a garage queen who sits more than it moves. i have two and used trickle chargers on them but they get fully charged and do not maintain unless you remove a clamp and reinstall it. these also have the capability to run high rates of voltage with capacitor spikes that remove sulfates from the plates. highly recommend.

Recovered battery, enough information to show charge rate and monitor battery recovery progress

Charges two 12v batteries in series for 24v system. so far works very well.
MOK –
Handy to have for many applications and shuts off when charge is completed.
LeGen –
This is the closest to what I was looking for I could find.
Pro – price, construction. Seemed to work out of the box. It did not attempt to charge when attached to an old, defunct mower battery. Old school chargers would have tried to revive a flat battery. I may try it with that dead battery again and see what the “reconstruct button does”.
Coin Toss – battery cable and wall plug length were short, but not intolerable.
Con – controls are too fancy. Not everything has to be computer based and guess at what you want it do instead of doing what you tell it. Lights and display were flashing and jumping around as it topped of my riding mower battery.
Griff –
Functions well. Wish that the leads were a little longer for my needs. No complaints on operation.

This is not a fast charger, the average charging rate is 5 amps if the battery is completely dead it starts out at 11 amps and drops from there at about 50% charge it’s around 5 amps it’s 75% charge it’s about 2 amps. I would imagine it does this not to damage the battery and to charge it safely
Micheal Mendoza –
Charged a completely drained 12V AGM battery. 41AH battery took about 9 hours. Very easy to use. Definitely Chinese quality, but with my once-a-year use, should last a long time. Extremely light gauge wiring and flimsy clamps, but I had no issues. For the price it’s a great deal. ($40)
