I use this on my motor home. it makes sure my batteries stay charged when not in use for a long time. It is easy to connect up and use. Just follow the instructions and it disconnect the batteries

Even though it is a bit of a bother to open the hood to reconnect your battery, it is much better than having to replace the battery from constant discharge due to low temperatures. I have done the trickle charge thing and the extension cord and battery charger thing in the past. I found this to work well when the temperatures stay primarily above zero. This is a super solution for a vehicle that is driven only once in a while a month.

I have several older model vehicles but mostly drive a beat up 30 year old Toyota Camry to save fuel. The other’s batteries will lose charge if they sit too long. I’ve found it simple and easy to use these slide disconnects to disconnect the battery when I don’t plan to drive them for several days. The ones that slide horizontally are best. I have one that pulls up to break the circuit and I left it completely vertical once and closed the hood on it. It knocked a pimple in the hood.

This cut-off switch fits well on a 2005 Toyota Camry LE 4 Cyl. Installation was simple and quick. The bundled cleaning brush and felt washers are convenient for the installation. The switch works well.

This product initially worked until I had to remove it from the battery. As I was removing it the clamp broke. I was just outside the 30 day window to replace it. Do not be fooled by the copper colored paint, the metal is not brass or copper.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do no dead battery after the vehicle is not used for weeks at a time.

This device was very simple to install. I was leaving my truck for 2 months and didn’t want the battery to be drained. It worked great! Started up right away when I returned. Now I just leave it on for the next time that I’m away.
