This is not a Timken made product. Not even someone else’s hub with a Timken beating on it. It is a SKF and you can buy the SKF on Amazon for a little less money. Both companies make good productsbut I was hoping for a tapered roller bearing instead of a ball bearing for better life and pothole resistance.

Just what I needed and saved $80 by not buying from an auto parts store!!

(INITIAL REVIEW)
Great price. If only it would install itself! These hubs are always a pain in the butt to R&R, but I can’t blame the part. Having said that, I will update this review in 30K miles or so. If it starts to rumble in 30K miles then 5 stars will go to 1 star.
For now though, its a much better price than I could have gotten locally, and for a Timken part no less. So far, very happy (except for the not installing itself…)
6/1/17 UPDATE!!!
This replacement bearing is rumbling and needs replacement at less than 11 months on vehicle/15K miles driven. BLASTED IMPORTED JUNK hiding behind a Timken Label!!!
Kudos to Amazon for honoring the 12 month warranty and refunding my purchase price, but that doesn’t cover the hassle of having to go in and do this job again! So much for this being a bargain. I’d have paid more for one I only had to change once!

Replaced the OEM bearing at 104,000 miles. Since that time, the vehicle was driven 65,000 miles. Now that same bearing is making noise. I expected more that 65000 miles out of a Timken bearing. I just replaced the Timken with a MOOG bearing. Hope that is the last one I need to replace. Otherwise, the fit and short term function of the Timken was fine.

As my title says it’s a great product. Timken makes good stuff even though most is not made in the U.S any longer. With that being said, great quality, best price and amazon’s crazy fast shipping. You can not go wrong.

Put the bearing on the vehicle and works good. Shipping was fast.
