It works fine but i dislike the bottle it comes in. The tip has to be cut and is a bit too large compared to the small store bought thread lockers. I suggest keeping the old small bottle from the store and use this to refill

The product works great. I used locktite (a similar product) years ago on pinball machines to keep vibrating parts from loosening. This time I used it on a dishwaher door. Works great. I do have only one complaint. The bottle is only half full when you receive it. I held it up to a light and saw the line was half way down the bottle. They could have easily put it in a smaller bottle. Most screw locking products come in smaller bottles, so I guess they wanted to stand out and still provide the same amount of liquid. Overall it works and it’s still a good price at around $5-7. Don’t buy if it’s full price.

A must have for around the house or shop

I didn’t ride in on no load of pumpkins; I have been faced with many difficult challenges and usually surmount them all.
However, this durn bottle of Red Juice nearly stopped me in my tracks — in fact did so for at least half-an-hour.
Nowhere — nowhere — not on the bottle, not on the box, not here on this product page, and not in a single review that I could find, was any explanation as to how to get into the stuff.
Reading the many reviews, it looked like everyone else was able to get in there — so why not me.
I just needed a few dribbles; I for sure didn’t want to screw up my bottle so as it wouldn’t properly seal back once I was done.
#1: Do NOT unscrew the big clear cap; leave it alone.
#2: That long white tapered octagonal cap up top = get a good grasp on the main bottle without squishing it.
Grasp the long white cap near it’s bottom and twist back and forth while pulling on the cap.
It will EVENTUALLY pop off in your hand.
Put it somewhere clean and safe; we will need it when we are finished.
#3: It looks like we are there, but we ain’t yet — nothing will come out.
Near the bottom of that long needle-like affair that we have exposed is a swelled up ring of sorts.
Use that for a handle and pull up on the needle.
It will pop up a bit and now you can squirt some out.
When you are done, push down the needle and push the octagonal cap back on firmly.
Simple — but no so much at first sight when one has no earthly idea how to access the product without destroying the bottle.
Also not mentioned anywhere and maybe the wrong thing to do — all other brands of Red ThreadLocker say to Shake Well; so, I shook it up a bit immediately before use.
The bottle is only half full for a very good reason.
I can’t believe how many reviewers come back here to bitch and whine about the bottle being only half full when it is explained in no less than forty different places.
These people don’t have time to read beforehand; but, they sure want their complaint to be read.
I cannot yet speak for longevity, durability, and suitability for my use of the product as I only put it into action yesterday evening.
I will soon know if this is suitable for a diesel fuel environment and will it prevent fuel seeping past while locking the 1/2″ NPTS fittings in place.
I installed a 1/2″ NPTS inside bore Bulk-Head in the bottom of a diesel fuel tank.
The Bulk-Head and all fittings mentioned are brand-new Brass.
Underneath the outside of the tank bottom is a 1/2″ NPTS Female x Female x Male TEE with the Male side leg of the TEE screwed up into the Bulk-Head; I applied three evenly spaced stripes of the Red Threadlocker on the Male threads of this TEE and screwed it just an eighth turn past hand tight into the center bore of the Bulk-Head.
The Threadlocker will act as both a thread sealant and a threadlocker.
I did likewise with the two 1/2″ NPT Close Nipples w/Hex that got screwed into the two Female legs of the TEE.
Once fuel is in the tank, fuel, and it’s gravitational force of being at tank bottom, will forever be inside the fittings that I locked and sealed with this Red Threadlocker.
I intend to assemble a similar 1/2″ NPT assembly finger tight and submerge it in a clean jar of Diesel and once every month test the Threadlocker bond for integrity.
I intend to revisit and update this review after enough time has passed for me to know whether is has held up or not.
As for the product and using it:
I could not beat the price, nor even come close, anywhere.
You get plenty of product for the price paid and the bottle will last for several thread locking events.
The long needle-like applicator works wonderfully to control where and how much.
I was afraid the juice might be really runny and all drip off before I got my fitting screwed in place.
It is a wee bit runny when working vertically overhead; but, not so much as to be a major problem; and, it doesn’t seem to want to drip.
Even that that squished out around the threads as I tightened them stayed right there and did not drip off although it was hanging straight down.
One point to consider and to look out for when your bottle first arrives:
On the back of my box, near the top, it says “Shelf Life: 2 Years”
On the very bottom of the box, in good old easy to understand American English, are two dates.
On my box, it says “MF DATE: 02/20/2024′ and “EXP DATE: 02/20/2026”
I received my bottle in late June of 2024 when it was already 4-months old; meaning, before I used the first drop on 25th July, I was already five months into my 24-month useful life, leaving me only nineteen months to go.
One would be advised to check these dates as soon as their bottle arrives and decide for themselves how soon they will get their money’s worth out of the product and whether to return a soon-to-expire bottle or keep it and use it.

I used this where I knew I would NOT be taking apart nuts, bolts , and accessories on my Small Block Chevy modifications!
This had an advantage over the original Red thread locker brand , it is higher temperature range … up to 500 Degrees F
Keep this in mind if you want to disassemble (Especially smaller threads) DO NOT FORCE you might break the bolts, heat the parts gently to 500 Degrees (that not too hot, you can momentarily TOUCH 400 Degrees steel parts for example.
Also note for the 50 ml container THIS IS a LOT of thread locker, it will last along time 🙂
And lastly YES EVERYONE KNOWS THE BOTTLE IS HALF FULL, that is by design, if you fill a bottle of thread locker?? It will turn to gel and be ruined .. Threadlocker sets up with presence of METAL and absence of AIR.
If t has NO AIR it will go ALL HARD.
