Bought for myself, enjoy design. For the most part it maneuvers around cup to see phone upright. The only thing I dont enjoy is that the charge is the slowest.

I absolutely love this charger/cup holder design. I’ve had many different kinds and styles of chargers and this is better than any others that I’ve owned. 1. It was easy to install and I can move it to several different angles or positions. 2. It holds my phone in place and is stable and allows it to easily charge. 3. Keeps it out of the way of vision (unlike a dash charger) while keeping my 2 cup holders available.
Once I used this for a while, I ended up buying a 2nd one for my other vehicle.

This was a little more expensive at $29.95 but WELL-WORTH the extra $- fits any cup-holder TIGHT, still leaves room for a drink in the cup holder, twist tightness design & sticky pad keeps everything in place, very well built & packaged, & design is 5 stars, suction keeps everything in place, superb functionality for my daily commute for watching WAZE directions. 5 stars!!

The concept is good but the execution falls way short. I have had this for a month and I tried to give it the benefit of a doubt after it failed in the first 4 days.First off, if you have a larger phone or it is on the heavier side, do not buy this. The arm will hold it up because the hinged joints have screws to tighten it at the angle you want but the rotation part does not lock so it will move around. The adjustable “cup” that goes into your cars cup holder will tighten just fine but with a heavier phone it will tip out and fall over. Your drink will be all over your car and like my instance, it ruins the day when your just bought morning caffeine is on the floor. The rubber pads that are supposed to grip the cup holder are only on with low quality double sided tape. The tape adhesive does not hold so the rubber pads slide off the cup holder and “Timber”, down it comes. This problem happens really fast if you happen to live in an area with road construction and the roads have frequent bumps or if you drive a truck that does not ride on air.
I did not have any issues with charging or the clamp that holds your phone.

It works OK. I needed an insert for my cup holder and a phone holder so this was ideal. It works as intended BUT it shakes like a dog straight from a bath and it’s hard to retrieve my coffee from the holder without it catching on the holder itself. It does charge my phone as well but with the bouncing causes it to misaligne so it does cause a issue sometimes.

This phone holder reviewed here is for one that clamps in a cup socket, and provides another cup holder above the car’s holder, plus an arm with a QI phone wireless charger.
The good is that
It comes with a cig lighter charger.
The phone clamps open wide enough for my s24 ultra in a thin case.
Charging performance nearly keeps up with a full brightness cell screen while using mapping apps and streaming music.
The phone clamps allow vertical position adjusted to not block side power button.
Room for soda, or coffee, or drink bottle in cup holder.
The not so good is
The clamp arms ratchet step size is too big, allowing the phone to either wobble a little bit in the mount, or be squeezed too tightly.
The range of adjustment for the plastic piece between the base and the phone mount is limited. Too tall, or if bent too much places the ball connection at an angle that doesn’t orient the phone screen nicely.
The bad is
The phone is not steady. The base mounts securely. The connection between the bottom base and the upper part that connects to the mount base has play, allowing significant wobble transferred up the arms to the phone.
Caveat is mostly everything is visible on android auto, so interaction with phone screen is limited.
Getting the mount orientated is trick because the vertical spacer arms orientation rotate as the base gets tightened. So multiple attempts are needed to get it right.
Improvements…
Stop the wobble. Perhaps allow the base to be tightened without the upper portion attached. Then tighten (with screws) the upper portion onto the base. THat improves mounting angles, and removes wobble.
Use finer step ratchets on the phone clamp arms.
Rethink the power cable exit from the phone. Perhaps a right angle backwards, or higher up, so that it does not stick below the phone.
