Iam using the cables for my truck that sits outside during the winter. I didn’t like the idea of leaving a battery tender outside even under the truck hood all winter. With these cables I can have the tender locked in the garage and both batteries being kept charged all winter.

I have a 2012 Acura TL that eats batteries. Several years ago I started using a 4 amp Battery Tender in my garage and the cable reached my car. I’m doing renovations on my house and my garage is full of cabinets and other stuff. So, my car sits outside. I always back in to the driveway and needed at least a 20 foot long cord. This 25-foot cable reaches easily to my hood. This Tetra-Teknica extension cable is heavy-duty wire and has caps to protect the ends. It connects easily to my Battery Tender charger and works perfectly. At a price of $14, this extension is less than the price of the name brand’s 6 foot cord; quite a bargain.

I usually like original OEM parts, and don’t tend to go for knockoff/aftermarket parts. However, BT has jacked up the price on their extension cord to the level that is basically gouging now. I used to buy these from BT at a fair price, but when I feel gouged I look for alternatives.
This is a great alternative, works just fine, connects securely to all my original BT chargers and extension cables, so will be getting more of these. Thank you.

16 gauge is a bonus with battery trickle chargers cleaner charging current for longer distances this works good for 30 ft plus
the manufacturer upped over 18 g for a better charging cable
