Let’s face it, changing the cabin filter in a BMW i3 is a pain in the back side. It’s a wonderfully engineered car, but whoever designed the cabin filter housing….sheesh. Unfortunately no brand of air filter will ever make the experience any easier, but thankfully, this filter doesn’t make it worse! As expected, this pack of two filters installed just fine, and the markings were easily seen to make for proper placement. Yes, if you’ve never replaced the cabin filter on an i3, there are two filters that get installed, and yes, this item does include two filters.

I’m very happy this fit my 2015 BMW i3 well. Keep in mind this is a little harder install on that model car than most others where the cabin filter is right behind the glove compartment. With the BMW i3 you need a T20 torx bit to remove the cover to install the filter which is behind the passenger floor mat.

Factory spec cabin air filter, great value for the money you change them every six months and this one is about the best I can find for the money don’t need to spend a lot for quality and the quality is here and insulation is not bad. Do it yourself save some money.

I try to replace the cabin filter in my car yearly. I think it helps keep the dust out, obviously, but also with Activated Charcoal it needs to be done regardless of how much the car is used.
I have successfully installed these filters in my car, and they fit perfect, just like the set I took out. I checked the size, and found them to be identical, so no problems there. a HUGE BENEFIT with these over others that I have installed is that they are VERY CLEARLY marked with which way the air should flow through them. Some filters I have used are just barely stamped with some faint ink.
My only tiny complaint was that the side walls of the filter are really stiff, which is good for keeping the filter in place, but bad for difficult installs where you need to bend it some to install it. I have a car that is very difficult (BMW i3). I learned this time that if you torsion twist the filter some it was easier to get around the obstructions down there. Understand, DESPITE Amazon saying that “These will not fit your car” for some reason, they are a PERFECT FIT for the BMW i3.
Overall, they worked exactly as I needed and as I expected. I like that there is a MERV rating, and there was also included a sheet of paper with a bunch of info on the testing they have undergone. At the ten dollar price, I really don’t see how you can go wrong. Great product!

After finding the tools, looking up the install instructions and some curses towards bmw car design, i was able to install these. Perfect fit for 2015 bmw i3. I feel like their construction was a little better than the filters from the dealer I pulled out.

This seems to be a decent filter. There are two styles of cabin air filter for early new Minis. This fits the centrally-located filter box that uses two short filters. It does NOT fit the long slinky under-glovebox style.

Other that being a total pain in the butt to install—blame BMW, and the tiny cabin of the i3—these filters seem identical to the OE filters and fit perfectly. They seem to be made of the same materials and similar construction. At about half the price of the OE or OEM filters, these are a no-brainer deal.

The filters are fine and fit my 2014 BMW i3. Huge pain to get them installed, but that’s BMW’s fault not these. No complaints so far. Found myself following a stinky truck and after a few seconds the stink was gone. So they work.
