I ordered this for my 2001 Honda Accord and it fit perfect. It has high quilty filters and it will help keep my cabin clean and fresh.

These filters look good. They seem well made and are well packaged. They appear to be the same size as my OEM filters. No instructions with them, so I hit YouTube. The process is not quick or easy, and I haven’t had time to do it yet. Looks like you should have at least a little skill working on things to do it yourself. But not rocket science, and because it’s not a quick process I suspect you’ll save a lot on mechanic’s fees if you have some basic skills. I’m going to guess it’ll take me a good hour or so myself.

This is a set of cabin air filter elements to fit an Accord – 98 through 02, or Acura – 99 through 03 TL/01 through 03 CL. Mine went into a 98 Accord, and they look and fit just like the originals do. This job is a bit of a PITA, but not something to be afraid of doing, it’s mostly just patience and being willing to struggle a bit getting everything tucked in where it goes. I highly recommend watching a video on YouTube if you have never replaced yours before, as it will save a lot of headache. Once you have watched the video it all makes sense, and it’s then just going through the steps to get the correct panels and glove box removed so you can get to the cabin filter housing and replace them. Like the stock ones, they are just barely able to be squeezed into the housing, but they will go, just be patient and keep working at them. Once they are in, the box goes back in, the panels go back on, and you’re done. These are a well made replacement, and the air smells very fresh once they are in. The price is terrific, and I consider these to be an excellent value. 5 Stars, and I can recommend these!

The filters work, but they are glued in wrong making installing these after market filters kind of a pain. The filters fit into a frame and they are held in by clips which are built into the frame. The way these filters are glued together you have to push down on the filter to slide it under the clip. If the manufacture just skipped a pleat there would be side wall with no filter material in the way, thus making these filter a breeze to install.
I know it’s hard to explain, and I couldn’t even take a picture that would make sense. Just take my word for it, they are built wrong and require extra work to get them to fit into the frame. If I had flip the filter over, they would have been installed wrong because you need to keep everything in the direction of airflow.
I was able to disassemble the car and get to the air filters, all in it took about an hour and a half. Technically it was easy work, and this would be an easy 5 stars if the filters were built correctly. I got them installed and tested the AC, there is airflow so it’s not exactly a 1 star product.
If you attempt this watch a video so you know what panels to pull.

What I like about the Femota Cabin Air Filters.
1. They are well made.
2. A great price for a carbon air filter.
3. They function well and work as designed.
4. After I installed them, I noticed an improvement in air flow.
What could be improved.
1. The fit.
If you follow their instructions, it’s a tight squeeze to get them to fit into the plastic mounting brackets. The problem arises because the last pleat of material on the top and bottom of each filter is too thick to fit into the slot on the bracket. They slide in easily if you flip them over (180 degrees) because the material on that side lays flat. But if you do that, they might not work as well because the air flow indicator arrow shows the filter needs to be installed with the thick pleat pointing towards the heater core. I overcame that problem by flattening the top and bottom pleats on each filter with a putty knife. Once flattened, they were much easier to install.
Note to the manufacturer: With a simple redesign this issue could be easily fixed — just make the last pleat on each end lay flat on the installation side. Do that and Femota cabin filters are a slam dunk choice over the brand names and their much higher prices.
I thought about knocking a star off for the fitment issue. But these work so well, I think it’s just better to let the company know about it. See my pictures if you want to get a better idea of what this problem looks like.
