Installed on my 2019 F350 Super Duty. Super, super, easy to install, less than 10 minutes. I was hesitant at something so simple and cheap can actually do the trick. It works absolutely perfectly. Simply undo the latch and let the shock do the work.

Simple to install – now I just open and let tailgate fall, is slowly goes down with no banging.

Honestly with all the accessories you can put on any truck this was the easiest to install, most enjoyable and unexpected for what it is. Although I have the tools needed it made it even easier that it was shipped with some of the tools that most might not have. Very impressed. It seems solid but if it doesn’t last I would still give 5 stars based on the enjoyment and the purchase price. 👍

Easy to install; it took me about 15 minutes. Now, with the tailgate on my F250, I simply raise the latch and let it “fall”. The Tailgate Assist Lift eases it to the fully open position. I don’t really see where it helps with closing but it’s the dropping open assist that I was going for. Sure helps this 62 year old, 5’3″ old girl!

Easy install, maybe 10 min, and works great on my 2019 F-250. No more slamming tailgate when releasing it and not paying enough attention!! Did not feel any difference for raising the tails. For $20 you have to get one!!!

The included Torx style wrench is ridiculously poor quality, to the point it would not work. Other than that the installation was extremely easy. There is a few inches of “free fall” before the shock takes over; however, this may be standard with other similar products. So far I’m pleased with the purchase.
