A previous owner of my car left love bugs on the car without washing them off. They acid etched the paint in several spots. The dealer I bought the car from must have used a product like this as it was barely noticeable when I got it. After several washings I ended up with white marks all over the front of the car. In the photo below, I only treated the left half of the hood. It will keep me going until I decide to repaint. Product seems good to me.

    Dont expect too much here

It works, well, sort of. It did make a difference on some very minor scratches and polished up my truck quite nicely. Since I never use a buffer and do all my waxing by hand, this product is terrible when it comes to removing it. My arms were dead, and you can’t just wax one panel or two panels, you have to wax the whole vehicle. So, if you use a buffer,r this might be okay, but if not, you can skip arm day at the gym. Also, after applying, I was worried my hands were going to be stained red. However, it does wash right off.

Excellent produit. Je n’aurais pas parié dessus lorsque je l’ai appliqué, mais résultat très bon, et qui dure même un an après.

Pleasantly surprised by how well it covered scratches & even cracks in Sun baked paint. If it holds up, I’ll be very pleased.

    All is good 👍

This will help reduce the appearance of fine scratches and swirls in paintwork but it will not magically eliminate or remove all scratches. It’s worth using as it will make even deep scratches less visible, however, it’s not a substitute for proper paint repair. I was hoping it would work better but – overall – I can’t complain as it did bring some luster back to the paint and made the scratches less noticeable.

Item does not cover scratches. I ordered Gray because my car is metallic gray and I used it on one tiny scratch. The scratch does not look any different after using this product. I issued a return and “I” was charged a “damage” fee of $5.20. I have no idea why! How about I charge $5.20 for the gas I had to use to return an item which is advertised as covering surface scratches.

Good scratch removal for dark red

Using this on my Ruby Red 2016 Ford Explorer with the sponge applicator drill head was easy as pie. I was trading in the car and was a little horrified at how many scratches and fading had occurred during its 7 year lifetime.

T-Cut did a terrific job on surface scratches as well as on a few somewhat deeper scratches. It obviously doesn’t fix really deep scratches penetrating the clear coat or going all the way to the metal. Once I used touch up paint and wet sanded the one deep scratch/patch I had (from an altercation with a bush on my property. I lost), I used T-Cut over it and it blended in the color variations that had remained.

I’m a fan. A little goes a long way. On that big car, I used less than a third of the bottle. It’s not a large bottle.

My new car is charcoal gray, so now I will search for a friend with a red vehicle. Or get a red one in the future. Lol.
