Just installed this window regulator in a 2003 Suburban. Easy to install and got me “back on track”. Takes about 15 minutes to install but that’s including gathering of the correct tools and putting the door panel back on. Hopefully it will last.

04 suburban direct fit. Easy install 5 10mm fasteners and it’s done. Works as it should and the price is more than reasonable. Update…December 2020. One has stopped working, these are rear window regulators so they don’t see too much action so to have it last about a year isn’t good.

Motor on unit failed after about 5 months. Didn’t know what the warranty period was, so I contacted Amazon who forwarded to the third party seller. They refused to refund or replace the defective unit because it was a little over a week out of warranty. Who ever heard of a 5 month warranty? I guess they aren’t very confident in the quality of their parts. The warranty wasn’t shown in the Amazon listing. Since this unit failed, I have been reading of other purchases of this product with similar complaints. It actually failed within the 5 month warranty period, but because of cold weather and other obligations, I wasn’t able to troubleshoot it until now. I guess that’s what I get for thinking I got a replacement unit for a decent price. They offered me a 30% discount on the purchase if a new one, but why would I want to dump more money on investor parts with a crappy warranty.

So the original broke apart cable , etc, etc. So got this one for the price and looks well made. Does the job. And time would tell if it was worth it. So I’ll update when I get some use from it.

The window motor was a little smaller than rhe original but, other than a little stronger draw battery draw, it works perfect and was plug and play.
