I bought this to replace the one on my 2001 Corolla which amazon said it was compatible with. It installed fine, even though it did not exactly match the original. The window rolled down fine, but going up it would pop out of the track and not close. No way to adjust it. Rather than go windowless I removed the motor from the mechanism and put it onto my original mechanism. It would have been nice to have just worked as it was.

Works perfect for 1998 Toyota Corolla driver side front window regulator with motor. These are really tricky to replace if you pay attention to how they come out of the door panel you will be able to install the new one no problem. If you take it out and forget the position you all struggle figuring out how to line up all the bolts. Also the window track boobs in a lot of different directions until it’s installed. Great product I added a little white lithium grease to the slides they were pretty dry out of the package.
