Kit comes with everything needed to replace the front disc brakes. Install was easy and everything went well with the install. Very happy with this purchase.
I would suggest getting some disc brake quiet for the outside rubber pad that contacts the caliper. My mechanic told me that it will compliment and help the grease that comes with the kit to stop any squeals.

This kit (it is not just the pads) that I purchased from SubaruSuperstore (a Subaru dealer out of Arizona) appears to be the genuine Subaru parts and fit my 2010 (pre-4/2010) Subaru Forester perfectly. The kit comes with pads, shims, hardware and the proper lubricants to do the job right. Considering the come with all the parts that need to be replaced, the kit price is very competitive.
I wasted a lot of time and money on aftermarket parts for my brakes, causing a lot frustration and improper braking performance. There may be some good pad materials out there, but the Subaru parts have materials and, more importantly, dimensions, that are engineered to work with Subaru braking systems.

Worked great for my 2012 Subaru Legacy 2.5i! You don’t get much moly grease in the kit so use it sparingly, it’s enough but just barely. There were 2 little sheets of paper inside the kit which both gave instructions on how to apply the moly grease to the pad shims but both sheets disagreed with the official Subaru service manual so I followed the service manual.
