Intended to use for autocross only but my S2000 was pressed into use for Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The StopTech SP brakes worked (front/rear) for three 5-lap sessions at an SCCA Track Night event. I didn’t push the brakes tooooo hard but they never lost bite. Largest braking zone at COTA was 123 mph down to 40 with no issues. Able to sustain a basically stock AP1 S2000 to a best lap of 2:47 at COTA.

I went the cheap route and purchased these for light track day that turned out to be a heavy day at Buttonwillow. I went through the pad after 6 sessions. I will say they had a great initial bite and worked pretty good but I would not recommend for track use at all. These would be great canyon carving brakes.

This was the second time I was bit with the wrong auto part which the Amazon system said would fit my car. I clearly did not learn my lesson the first time a similar situation happened to me with my other car just 1 year ago in which case amazon sent me rear rotors when I ordered front rotors.
The problem was made worse as it was a weekend and I was working alone on my car in a warehouse on the edge of town. I had already gone knee deep having replaced the rotors and I was preparing to replce the pads when I discovered the discrepancy. The old pads did not look like the new ones. I had to take a cab to a local O’Reilly auto parts store to get the right pads and of course they were of lower quality than the Stop Tech pads would have been for a much higher price. Between the cab fare and the difference on price for the pads I had to buy from the auto parts store in a bind, I was out an extra $70.
I contacted Amazon customer service and they were very nice in understanding the absolute waste of money and time this cause. The rep was able to provide a $30 credit to make of for the inconvenience this situation had caused but he made it clear that $30 was the maximum they were allowed to offer in situations like this.
I will not buy important auto parts from Amazon anymore.

These brake pads fit the AP1 Honda S2000 (AP2’s will fit!), and select years for the Civic Si and I was quite impressed by these pads. The do not require break-in, but they should be bedded onto your old rotors unless you have new rotors. (Look up how to bed your pads).
Pros: Excellent Stopping power
Cheap
Easy upgrade
Decent pad life
Cons:
Significant dust
Pairing this product with high performance brake fluid (I use SuperBlue ATE DOT 4) and these pads will give you a very cheap and great upgrade. They do dust a lot, but that is expected with all high performance pads. The dust is easy to clean off however, unlike some racing brake dust.
I highly recommend this product, they work great with my S2000, I could not even get my brakes hot enough to fade. That tells you something.

These are probably amazing pads – StopTech’s are great.
This part is ONLY compatible with Honda Civic SI / RSX / S2000 – Not regular 2006-2011 Honda Civics (DX/EX/LX/Sport etc.).
You’re looking for the 465A StopTechs

I paired these with a set of cryo treated power slot rotors on my 2010 civic si
Great pads, increased stopping performance. Great upgrade.
After i first put them on they where slightly noisier then factory pads, but after i Bedded them in according to stoptechs recommended procedure. after that no noise increase over factory pads.
only downfall so far is increased break dust but any performance pad is going to give that.
I would highly recommend

Going from OEM pads to these was like night and day. The initial bite is spot on and the overall power is exactly what I was looking for in an AutoX / Street pad. I have used these now in both my RSX Type-S as well as my S2000 and have had the same results with each. Only downside I have found is the dusting, but that is the tradeoff you always make for high performance pads like these, check out some hawk reviews, same thing. I also love that these are 2/3 the price of the hawks everyone recommends for AutoX, I will stick with my stoptechs!

These are my second set of pads. Great street performance and light years ahead of OEM pads (2008 Civic Si sedan) I replaced all 4 corners with these pads when I bought the car, and after a year and a half I am finally replacing the fronts (they had about another 3 months left on them, but I don’t usually wait until the last minute).
My only gripe is they are extremely dusty while they are being bedded in, so be prepared for that. All I have to say is I’m glad that I went with silver instead of white powdercoating on my wheels. Add steel braided lines for a good street set up.

They stop good. I don’t notice a huge improvement over stock on my RSX, but I do notice a large amount of brake dust (wheels need cleaning every day to not look bad) and plenty of squealing after running them for a few weeks.

I installed these pads on my 2008 Acura CSX Type-S and so far I’m happy with it.
Compared to Honda/Acura genuine pads, these pads have more grip which I like, but also a little bit more dust.
