Works like it should, although the swivel isn’t what I would consider a robust design. I doubt it would hold up to a daily use on an impact. But for 40 bucks it got the job done. If you only plan on using it with a ratchet you will probably be fine. For those complaining about quality, Dont abuse your tools. You didn’t buy the 200-dollar SnapOn version. You bought the made in somewhere 40 dollar version. 30 years in automotive and I would purchase another if I needed to.

I’m purchasing my second one as the first one finally broke (dislocated the wobble and lost spring) after 2 years of almost daily abuse but it was my fault for being too hard on it with my Milwaukee 1/2 impact. I’m a diesel tech for Ford and this to has made life really pleasant getting to the top four bell housing bolts on 4×4 trucks with the added length of a transfer case. This tool has paid for itself countless times and I’m happy to buy it again. I love that it is 1/2 to 3/8s and the extension is thinner so it’s really light and the wobble is low profile so it fits in really tight places I can barely see into but still has the power to zap bolts in or out with the 1/2 power. Snap on and matco would charge you the cost of 4 of these for a single setup that is likely heavier and multiple peices. I’d buy this once more if it lasts as long as the last one before I get a similar setup from matco with the lifetime warranty

This extension it’s the perfect length for reaching those hard to reach bell housing or torque converter bolts, the swivel on the end looks weak but so far it’s holding up, if it makes it through a few transmission jobs it will be well worth the purchase, but so far it’s been wonderful

These seem like they’re very well built! Very sturdy. I’ll update this review after I have had time to use them more.

I like the swivel & the smaller end on the extension. This works great for pulling transmissions. By using the 3/8 drive socket on the end, I can get it into places that a 1/2 inch drive socket would be too thick. The swivel end is nice because you don’t have to worry with an extra swivel on the end.

Junk Don’t buy if you need it. Will show up 10 days later. Waste of time ordering from this seller. Beware!!!

Steelman high quality extension with 1/2″ female drive, and 3/8″ universal/swivel drive at the business end. Great length and flexibility for transmission removal and especially installation for BMW E60 528i. Many of the bellhousing fasteners are E-Torx and utilize a pre-load torque, and then a torque-angle (Torque to Yield, TTY) tightening. So you need to be able to control the extension while laying on your back, under the car (DIY).

I also have the 36″, 18″ and 12″ versions. Great additions to your tool inventory.
