Right tool for the right job, correct? These worked extremely well. Cannot believe after 7 tries locally, I had to order these online. None of the auto parts store in my area carry these anymore. Is it just me or is that plain stupid? Why would one try any other method of spreading a battery terminal than the use of one of these? Every single store I went in gave me the same reply. “We don’t carry them. We use xxxxxxx when we need to spread a terminal.All these guys using an unprofessional, inefficient method instead of using s tool designed specifically for the job at hand. Let me state, this tool was invented for a reason. Use one!

I haven’t had an occasion to use the expander yet but the tool looks to be well made.
