This item is packaged specifically for using as a key fob, but can be used with any item requiring a like sized coin battery.
I recommend writing the date, using a Sharpie, on the battery when you install it so you can determine if it lasted a reasonable amount of time. If it does not last, you can then shop other brands.

I bought so many different brands of batteries even the big name ones to replace my Mercedes key fobs batteries. Every one would work for a time or two then the message would come up in my car that the battery needed to be replaced again. I was getting frustrated that none would last longer than a few days without the message popping up so I got these and I finally got batteries that have been in for months now and I get no message! These truly are the only ones that seem to work for me so if you have the same issue give these a try! Will get more!

I felt like my key fob was getting a little slow so I was thrilled to see this pop up in vine. As simple as it was to replace the battery, I did watch the recommended video. I only have one key fob and wanted to make sure I did the replacement correctly. Very easy process for a first time battery replacement.
