I thought It was my mistaken, you should always check by Part Number…

takes some downward pressure to get it to screw dont know if its just my cap that but works good holds the coolant in not a big deal if it fixes my problem unluckly for me it fixed one issue but then my tank sprung a leak after a week of it holding the full pressure i have a grand am gt cap does what it supposed to cant complain

This was a perfect OEM fit for my ’01 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Local parts store wanted 3x as much and the cap didn’t properly seal. Well, knowing that the seal is what keeps my antifreeze in the overflow tank, I ordered this and just used a shop rag where the properly one was supposed to go until it arrived (so grateful for free Prime shipping)!

This replacement cap fit perfectly . The previous A/C Delco R/C 85 cap purchased and installed in Dec 2018 had O rings that swelled so much the cap became very difficult to remove .No sure if the cap was to blame or some non Prestone Dex Cool alternate store brand of coolant that I used . I replaced the coolant with genuine G /M Prestone Dex Cool .

I have used Stant products for years, always quality. Replaced my 20 year old original GM rad cap with this one. No where does it say “Stant” anywhere, and is not made in the US, sadly like so much else. Well, it works.

Prefect replacement coolant tank caps. I ordered 2 of these, one for my 2003 Suburban and one for my 2004 Silverado. My coolant tank caps were original and were getting hard to open and as a part of basic maintenance and troubleshooting it was a simple step to just replace them rather than spending time on testing them. The look and fit exactly like my original equipment caps that they replaced. I have put a couple of thousand miles on them so far and have no complaints. I also took the opportunity to modify one of my OEM caps to build a pressure tester. I already had a metal schrader valve (tire valve stem) that bolts in place and I just had to drill a hole in the cap and through the guts of the pressure relief system (I was able to remove most of it) and screw it in place and seal up the rest of the cap with some epoxy. Now I can carefully pressure test my system to find leaks (don’t exceed 15lbs or you could damage seals and gaskets, use the lowest pressure needed to find the leak). A bicycle hand pump works well for this. I would recomend these caps to anyone with a GM with the standard remote coolant tank that these fit.
