First thing to mention is how easy was the installation and it’s fitment on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0. it corrected the problem, my vehicle operates properly. Good quality for the price. Very accurate to my vehicle.

Been in my car for several weeks now and so far no problem with it

Perfect fit.

My temp gauge on my truck was acting up. I kept getting fluctuating and high reading when I knew the truck was still cool. I replace the temp sensor an easy fix. The part fit perfect. It came with thread sealer already applied and works great.

I purchased this for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler 4-cylinder. It was a perfect fit and nearly identical to the factory installed sensor. I put a new sensor in because of a check engine fault code indicating low coolant temperature and my dash temperature gauge never rising above 150 degrees. After installing the new sensor and resetting the fault code, the code has not reappeared and the temperature gauge in the dash shows the true operating temperature (approx. 210 degrees). See photos of old and new sensor. Please note that I added the Teflon tape, it did come with the new sensor.

Working perfectly in our 2000 jeep Cherokee xj

I’ve purchased parts from this brand before and have had good luck so far. This coolant temp sensor is no exception. After more than 200k miles, the old sensor wasn’t as accurate as it once was, and this did the trick at a good price.

Gotta be careful with 97 TJs. I had to order this one which is actually for late YJs and early TJs. This is the one you want for an early year TJ.
