Code P1391. Replace crank position sensor with a Good Quality part not cheapos, fixed 2004 WJ grand cherokee, use hidden access cover near gas pedal at side of console on the trans tunnel then see sensor thru that hole , see youtube vids,,Easy!!

Installed on a decent running 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is having issues randomly shutting off. After the annoying installation I crank it up and the car runs like crap, misfiring and barely driveable. I reset the PCM Adaptive memory, adjust the position of the sensor, anything I could to make it work but no luck. Begrudgingly installed the old sensor and have ordered a Mopar replacement at 4X the cost and I recommend you do the same to avoid having this problem yourself.
Side Note: Amazon is great and the return process was a breeze.

Not much to say, the quality looks the same as the original and it worked great.

Construction was solid and despite a very difficult installation on the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee L6 after the replacement all is well. Waited till I had about 25K miles to report no problems!

In all fairness it has only been 2 months. But so far so good. I wanted to go with a Mopar cps, but after much research I discovered they are DISCONTINUED for my year Jeeps. Mopar is no longer making them, and if you do find one expect to pay too much for it. I am familiar with Standard Motor Prducts and I have had no issues in the past with them. I agree that oem in this case would be more reliable, but when you have no choice second best will have to do. I will update if and when it fails on me.

Didn’t last three months, and back to same stalling issue..
Buy the genuine MOPAR crank sensor found on Amazon ~$100, you won’t regret it
