Worked as advertised. No issues

After purchasing a different manufacturers part and having it split and spray fuel all over my engine I bought this as a replacement and so far it has held up very well whereas the previous one broke within a week of installation.
So I can highly recommend this product

Previously ordered a cheaper version of this sensor and after only 3 weeks it crapped out on me. This new and better version is a better product and works great, You definitely get what you pay for!

Install was easy enough, and cleared my code for fuel pressure rail sensor. Worked for 2.5 days before causing multiple more codes to be thrown.
On the 4th day post part change, my car just shut off mid drive.
Luckily I was able to coast into a parking spot and restart. After this it would continually shut off. I couldn’t even make it to a shop, I had to get help to push the car in.
Shop determined the sensor was getting to 250 degrees and shorting battery. They replaced with OEM part and now car runs great. Had to pay for diagnostic and part replacement at auto repair prices.
DO NOT BUY! Buy an OEM part.

Product is the same as I could buy from a national auto parts store for 1/5th the price. Shipping was swift. Installation was easy and rather intuitive but there was no instructions concerning of resetting fault code following installation. As a result I continued to get check engine error codes. It was not until and AutoZone employee told me how to reset the system that I stopped getting OBD II codes advising the sensor I had just installed was faulty.

It works was easy to install

The OE failed in a 2004 Ford Taurus with DOHC motor. Replacement seems to work identically. I’ve noticed no difference in fuel economy or engine performance.
It is *almost* the easiest car repair you could ask for, however the new part is shaped slightly differently than the original and I had to wrestle with it a bit to make sure it had a tight, leak-free seal. The first time I tightened it down and turned on the car, it was leaking gas. Readjusted and now it’s been working fine for a few months.

Been seeing the check engine light ON, on my 2007 Ford Focus for the LONGEST TIME! (still performed well 164k…my mechanic said “put a business card in your dash”…sheesh!!…lol
I guess I’m OCD
Got this for $40 and, even for the mechanically UNinclined dude like me, it was EASY to instal…passed on the $20 offer @ wal-mart ..as well as the OVER priced $110 quote from our local auto-parrs store.
AHHH!!! now the dash is ALL CLEAR!!!
THANK YOU Dave Ramsey, and Amazon…
No new debt, No new car!!!
