Ordered one and it broke during installation, ordered a 2nd one and it broke before I even got ready to install

How something so obvious could have been missed (at the factory) is boggling. Not taking a chance with this so it has already been taken to the UPS Drop-Off point for return.
The anomaly does not allow the coil to sit flat on it’s mounting bracket.

broken but still works. It is a fairly heavy and fragile item, but it came in an envelope that didn’t even have a bubble lining. One of the connectors was nearly busted off. I put some gel superglue in the crack and it is working. The car is only driven locally so I am okay with this temporary type of repair, but had the price not been so inexpensive, I would have returned it.
