I have a 2004 Kia Spectra and every time I fill up the gas tank, it would have a lot of trouble starting. I would also get hesitation now and again while accelerating. I know this car is getting up there in years and I definitely didn’t want to invest in a costly repair. An internet search led me to this product. A solenoid? Never heard of it. I decided to purchase it and can safely say that it completely fixed my problem. Now when I fill up at the gas station, the car will start just fine. And the hesitation issues while accelerating are also gone.
Best part about this product? Very easy to install. You’ll just need a set of needle-nose pliers to separate the clips on each tube (don’t user your fingers unless pain is something you enjoy.) There is also a plug that you pop off and then back on the new one. The entire process took me about 5 mins. That and $35 saved me a trip to the mechanic. That makes me very happy.
