Fixed my 2000 dakota 4.7 from stalling

The MAP Sensor was a perfect match to my truck OEM sensor an it fit correctly in the plug with no extra work to be done .

2000 Dodge Dakota 4.7L V8 was stalling and surging. Basically it was undriveable. Part store pulled code 0108 map sensor and wanted crazy dollars. Ordered AS141 on Fri recd Tues. It turned out to be the original part# match (560141018) for my truck. This is the original Chrystler Map Sensor. Not only was it half price, but now my truck purrs like a kitten. Also bought the FG 0235 Delphi fuel pump, turned out I can save it for later. I was given a $15 discount on the pump so theres no way im sending it back. Put it like this, im done with parts stores. All of them. They know who they are. Satisfied in Macon, Georgia

FIXED MY GRAND CHEROKEE. EASY 5 MIN INSTALLATION.

Ordered this for my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 and so far so good. Installed it yesterday, drove it around on highways, mixed stop and go city traffic and all seems well. I had the P0108 code pop up (I did the key trick, on and off three times leaving it in the “on” position on the 3rd time). I also replaced the IAC , TPS and PCV as I’ve read they all work together. My initial problem was the Jeep would stall at random times while driving. I’ll update after awhile on how everything is working.

I was having major problems with my car including engine dying in the middle of the road, jerking acceleration, and poor gas mileage. I pulled the error codes and one of them was P0108. In the beginning I was reluctant in buying this part online because of the waiting involved and if the part received is defective I’d have to wait some more. But the price advantage is significant enough for me to take this risk. The local part store wanted $169 and the dealership wanted $299 for it. Those are big money to flash down the toilet should my diagnosis is incorrect.
But I paid overnight shipping and still ended up paying only about half of parts store price. Put it in the car and, bum, magically fixed the car like new.
It worked perfectly as of this writing, about a month after installation now. I’ll update this if the part went bad.

Installed fine, everything was as it should be and my error code went away. At this point no issues to report.
