Great while they worked but frayed and was useless after 30 min usage

I ordered two of the 50 grit (light green) pads for smoothing about 400 linear feet of snapped porcelain tile. The first pad held up great, lasting about 195ft before it was worn down enough I decided to switch. That’s when I noticed the second pad was actually dark blue, but the package said 50 grit so I put it on and tried it. I don’t know what the difference is but the grit on this second pad is much flatter hexagons as opposed to the bubble shaped grit I remember from the first pad and that is shown in the image. And it just does not grind nearly as well for this material as the first pad did.
I would say the blue pad takes at least 3x the time and effort to finish an edge. The Velcro back does say 50 but it is clearly not the same pad, it’s a different color, different grit profile, and much worse performance. I’m ordering two more pads in the hopes they are the green ones from the image and might add a star back if these are both as good as the first one, but right now the issue seems to be in quality control perhaps in the product labeling on Amazon’s end.

Removes diamond grooves so you can continue using finer polishing pads to get whatever polish you want.

Bought a series of pads to finish my vanity top and this pad, the last in the series, had glue on it, which rubbed off and stained my top as soon as I buffed. Had to buy new pads just to try and clean ip brown stains. Not perfect, but better. Still a waste of money. Outside the return window by 7 days, so nothing left to do but leave negative feedback, which I don’t like to do.

They last a long time. We use them on limestone every day.
