This tool looks almost too simple but my husband says it works pretty well… he thought he might be able to make one if he needs another but he is currently using this one to do transmission work.

THIS IS A CHEEP HOME MADE AND OVER PRICED JUNK THAT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL, YOU CAN DO BETTER WITH A THIN BLADE FROM YOUR FEELER GAUGE SET. THIS IS HOME MADE AND SOLD AS A NAME BRAND ITEM. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK. AS YOU CAN SEE THE WIRE IS SO THIN IT BENT WHEN I WENT TO USE IT THE FIRST TIME. JUNK JUNK, JUNK, JUNK. I DID REPORT THIS TO AMAZON.

Haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet, but was informed that it is the proper tool to install trans seals without damaging them. I’ll be using it shortly while building my performance T400 for my Chevelle.

I’m rebuilding a th350 and this is working perfectly for the lip seals on the pistons.

Worked ok, don’t use it to seat the piston seals in their housings will get stuck and may tear the beveled ring!!! Ok for putting the orings and seals on but not in the bore!!!
Baldo H. –
I’ve done the lip seals b4 without tool and it was a pain. Was very surprised how easy this tool made everything
JS –
I like this tool but you must be careful with the thinner site end of it will break.

Worked fine for installing lip seals on a TH350 transmission.
