…they need to tape their boxes shut! Spicer/Dana produces the finest suspension parts, period. The only negative is that their u-joints can easily slip out of their factory boxes and possibly dislodging the bearing caps. Tape the boxes shut! Did I mention that Spicer should tape their boxes shut?

One of the white dust seals was broken after I installed the first one. I assumed I must have broken it when I installed it, and ordered a second one. On that one of the caps felt unacceptably notchy when I twisted it. I was able to make a good one out of the two. The first issue may or may not have been my fault, no way to know at this point, but the issue second was not.
That said, it fit my “big cup” Ford drive shaft properly, and is working fine.

Have tried every brand of u-joint, being a Auto Tech for more than 30 years. Spicer/ Dana is only brand to spend your hard earned money on. Have used other brands, they just don’t last. Spend a little more and buy the best, long lasting, u-joints! Spicer is OE for a reason!
