Perfect fit for a Dana 44

This allowed me to make a driveshaft using 1350 series u-joints (typical 3/4 or 1-ton truck stuff) and joint it to the rear axle of my Volvo 940 wagon. Why? Volvo used their own version of a Dana 30 in the car. My Volvo has an LS2 engine (vette, etc) and a t56 6 spd manual. The stock driveshaft didn’t live long with that.
So, yes, the next problem will be the semi weak Dana 30. I have made some 4140 steel bearing caps for the carrier bearings,helping that, but the axle shafts themselves are questionable, which many jeep guys learn when they break. Which makes me wonder why they make this particular yoke, but I am glad they do, so 5 stars for them. Unless it breaks, then I will update my review. I do doubt that this part is the weak link, though.
