Fit Great. Not notably lower gauge steel than OEM. My RCI fuel tank skid plate bolts right up no problem. Just reuse the rubber wrap from the original fuel tank straps that prevents wear on the fuel tank. Total install time took about 20 minutes with one person and a good floor jack.

Fit perfect on 2007 Toyota Tacoma. It doesn’t come with hardware or rubber liner so save them from the old gas tank strap.

The straps were simple to install – took me an hour or so! Worked perfectly on my 2017 Tacoma SR5 – despite the Amazon garage indicating the “do not fit” my truck. I just re-used the rubber inserts from the original straps and made the switch. Used a floor jack with a piece of a 2×4 to brace the gas tank – super easy. Highly recommend!

My strap broke in the dead of winter so I ordered these. They are mild steel, definitely not stainless, so they will need to be painted. Ideally with a product like POR-15. Considering it was 5 degrees outside it was rather hard to paint. Would have happily paid more if they just primed them before they shipped out. Wear your leather gloves, as these things are just one giant burr waiting to slice everything in their path.
Otherwise, they’re good enough.

Fit very well in a 2006 TRD Offroad Toyota Tacoma Access cab. They seem to be holding up just fine so far. Will update my review if they start to rust early.

These fit a 3rd gen Tacoma, but they are incredibly flimsy. The OEM fuel tank straps that came on my TRD sport were much better. I returned these and just bought the ones from RCI offroad. Those were much more durable

Easy to install

From what I read it fits every tacoma. It’s super easy to change with no lift or jack needed.
Fits my 2008 tacoma base model with extra cab.
I would recommend if you want a skid plate or you don’t. I don’t have a skid plate and it’s doing great anyway.

These fit perfectly on my 2005 Toyota Tacoma 4×4 with off road package. It took my hubby and I about 2 hours to remove and replace them. Our floor jack, with a short 2×4 fit on a metal lip on the rear of the tank to secure it while we replaced the straps. There’s a rubber lining I had to reuse from my old straps. Took time to clean off rust. Also need to reuse 2 bolts and 4 nuts (metric).
