Fit was exact as original. 2003 Toyota tacoma 4×4 extended cab 6cyl. I did take other feedback advice and painted it before installing. Some parts lookup say there is a front and rear strap but there is only a rear. The front of the fuel tank is held on by a bolt

Verify your application. The Amazon fitment table said this does not fit my Tacoma. This is actually the correct strap for my truck. The Small squares shown in the photo are for mounting the “skid plate” under the tank.

Fit perfect on my 2003 Toyota Tacoma TRD. I recommend painting before installation.

Product as advertised. I would recommend painting the strap with spray paint before installing it, so it will not rust.

Was exact replacement for my repair. No modifications required.

Fit well, but came bare metal. I had to prime and paint several coast of enamel in an attempt to keep it from corroding

This gas tank strap perfectly fits a 2004 Tacoma Xtracab 4WD 6cyl 3.4.
This strap comes untreated and unpainted and I live in the boondocks where powder coating is not available locally. I cleaned the strap with mineral spirits, primed with Rustoleum etching primer and finished it with Plasti-Dip spray.
My OEM gas tank strap rusted away, as did the OEM gas tank “skid” plate. I used this strap with the Low Range skid plate with excellent results: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D7Y9CD6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
We have a Bolt Buster heat induction tool which made removing the bolts a non-issue, but I did have to use a grinder to cut away the strap on the inside of the gas tank where the end is secured by a pin on the frame cross member.
