The Sensor was faulty made my truck idle higher then normal and would cause loss of power while driving. Swap to different brand sensor. Truck runs beautiful now.

Lasted less than than 2 years.

Fits perfectly

Installed in my 2000 RAM Dodge diesel. Works like a champ!!
No problems, truck starts and runs good now.

I put mine in my 1999 ram 2500 and it fit perfectly…works exactly as it should.
This is the crankshaft sensor that is located behind the starter…its not a camshaft sensor. It seems that some on here can’t tell the difference…even though the am sensor is under the VP44 injection pump.

The old one was an eight hour job to get out. I put never seize grease on this one and it went in ok. Fixed the check engine light and the truck runs better.

Got it in timely manner. Went to install it and would not fit. Body of sensor was about .006″ too big due to manufacturing imperfections. A quick filling around the outside of the body of sensor and it slid in nicely. Otherwise I would have given full 5stars. Sensor is working good.

My 1998 24 cummins was loosing power simultaneously every time my rpms dropped. I did some research and decided to order the crank shaft sensor and replaced it so far it was worked great will do an update later on

Fare priced Oem quality very satisfied. Would purchase again. Used on a 99 cummins diesel truck.

Mine worked for approximately 1 week. I bought it because the one that was on the truck would sometimes turn on the truck and something it would just crank and crank and crank. Well, this worked for about a week. It still works now but once the truck is hot, it’ll take about two cranks to turn it over. It’s scary not knowing if it’ll turn on.
