Fit perfectly on my 1981 Dodge Ram 1500

Seems to be a very soft replacement for an OEM product. It installed way too easy. I truly hope it is a durable as the origional.

Yay! I can fill my tank up all the way now!

I can’t speak to longevity but the fit is right and no leaks on install. I’m going to buy a second one to have in hand for next time.

At the time of replacing a fuel pump, do yourself a favor and replace this rubber grommet BEFORE it starts leaking.
Mark Morgan –
The seal was too small for either the gastank or filler neck.
James Turner –
cant get the dam thing in the tank, its too hard
Merrill Fritz –

The 36 gallon plastic fuel tank in my Dodge Ram 2500 Van had to come out for a fuel pump module replacement. The fill grommet was original from 1996, it wasn’t leaking but it looked rough. The Spectra Premium looked identical in design and fit perfectly. The other readily available brand Dorman, had poor reviews of failure after exposure to enthanol gasoline. The fill pipe on the van does not enter the tank straight, but rather at an angle. The new grommet accommodated this issue, no leaks or seepage. Thanks!
