Good price and it’s working awesome.

I used the bracket from the OEM coil to make this fit inside the distributor. It takes about 2 minutes to make this work perfectly. If your looking for exactly OEM fit this is not for you. For the price this is a minor inconvenience.
Miguel H. –
Works great at a fraction of the cost of other companies. Thank you!

The part only lasted about a month and my CRV started dying again while driving. Also, like most reviews here, I also had trouble installing the Coil. The Shield is larger than OEM. I replaced it with the AC Delco for a few dollars more.
Roberto Tudela Maanao –
Works just fine after filing off the corners to make it fit the housing on a 1999 Honda CR-V
Marissa Romanko –
I see lots of people complaining about metal not fitting and having to use old metal surround. All I did was hit the metal in a little bit ( I noticed it was fanned out a little bit) with a hammer and it for perfectly on my 1995 integra GSR.
Nutty Professor –
This is definitely a good price compared to the price of the original coil ($100). It had been 1 month and it’s still working. I would have rated it 5 stars if I did not run into this problem:
I have the Acura Integra 2000; when I tried to install this part, it would not fit; the part seems slightly bigger than the coil compartment. I was getting frustrated trying to find out where the problem is. Turned out that the metal shield (the shell that enclosed most of the coil) is out of tolerance and it would not slide into the compartment.
I had to removed the metal shield from the new part and replaced it with the shield from the original Acura coil then everything went smoothly
Sampson Simpson –
admittedly, the fit was not perfect (took a little nudging from a hammer to fit in the mounting bracket) and it does not come with the needed screws to fasten the electric wires, but… the unit works as expected and cost $20 versus $60-80+ for competitor products.
worth the money and recommended.
Shane B –
Worked well, fixed a weak factory coil
UberSerge –
worked like a charm on my integra.
Car didn’t want to start and wasn’t getting spark, but I did have fuel and air.
Once I realized the old coil was done I ordered the cheapest one I could find.
Used old OEM metal that the old coil came with and threw this baby into the distributor.
Car fired right up.
Drove 100 miles today, the day it arrived and the car isn’t hesitating at all.
Car idles much more strongly and responds better when I slam on the throttle.
Feels like I’m actually firing on all cylinders now.
Only time will tell, but for now 5 stars.
