ordered this product about a month ago…..came broken (bad Packaging) and I do it for a living….. they replaced it and it worked fine for a couple weeks and then failed….put old one back on and ran fine….stick to original equipment in this area …just shop for the best deal…

used this on my 1999 jetta mk IV was doing fine but would quit firing after 5-10 min of driving – I guess it was getting hot because after a few minutes (to cool down) would start just fine. the only visible damage to my old one was a very small chip was broken off toward the end of the insulator. now my jetta is back on the road, well worth the money.

Perfect fit for 1999 Golf GTi with 2.0 liter AEG engine. Eliminated engine codes P0300, P0302, P0304 (misfires) and P0341 (camshaft position sensor). VW doesn’t make it easy and you have to remove an air pump and work behind the air pump mounting bracket in order to swap out this part. I recommend changing the spark plug wires while you are doing this.

This is perfect for a wasted spark set-up!
I’m using it in a modified dodge shadow. Signal 1 provides spark at A & B, signal 2 provides spark at C & D; this is a logic level coil, so you don’t have to mess around with IGBTs, just figure out your firing order, wire it up to your plugs and ECU, and then you are good to go!
