I bought this to install an aftermarket ambient lighting kit in my 2021 F150 because the fuse tap that came with it didn’t fit well inside my fuse box. This little adapter seemed like the best solution, but it was too wide to fit in my truck’s fuse slots.
I ended up trimming off a bit of the plastic next to the prongs (parallel to the prongs on the outside edges) with wire cutters to make it narrow enough to fit, and it worked perfectly after that!

Uses very little space, unlike the right angled piggy backs which cover up the next fuse slot. These are the ones to get.

Some Subaru WRX models have been diagnosed with a parasitic battery drain issue. Mine unfortunately has the issue that has been “resolved?” per Subaru by recommending a larger car battery. Obviously this does not prevent the battery from discharging with the constant drain and the end product is a drained battery with lack of driving. This Tap allowed me to pull the telematics fuse to disengage the system when the car is not running, and to supply power to the one side of the fuse socket with a source on the engine compartment fuse box that only comes on during use of the car. It’s a very clean fix and has already proven to me to have possibly solved the issue.

I ordered this and a spst switch for disconnecting the 12 volt accessory circuit in my Honda Cr-V when I am towing it with my motorhome. this inserts into the fuse socket perfectly

My 2017 Titan battery was being drained by the radio when the truck is not running. I inserted this in place of the small fuse and added a switch to turn it on when I’m driving.
The dealer wanted 2400 dollars to replace the radio. This is 5 dollars and an hours work.

This was exactly what I need to fix the issue I was having with my wiper on my car that would stay on constantly, I tapped into the main power line with this fuse extender which allowed me to ad a on-off switch, now I can turn on and off my windshield wipers when needed because the rainy season is coming.

Very nice, but price just jumped 25% since I purchased it. With all the talk about people trying to reprogram their car to ‘dark’ mode or ‘police’ mode – sometimes an old school method like pulling a fuse out and installing a switch inline with the fuse is the best solution (so using this with a switch spliced in-line to control the circuit). Then you don’t have to hook your computer back up to your car to switch it back — you can just flip a switch to change between ‘dark’/’police’ mode and ‘christmas tree mode’ where everything lights up when you open a door so everyone within a block radius can see if you have any packages in the back seat.

Worked great with the add a line fuse holder. There was not enough room for the add a line fuse hold as it was too close to other fuses. This fuse holder easily solved the problem.
