Of course I had them for a few days only but they appear to be nice. Both sides are internally connected and thus, most likely, a better energy transfer from one battery to another. What you need to add is terminals, “lugs” from your cabe end to the clamps and then thick glue lined heatschrink to make it all perfect. I mean that is the goal, do it right or just don’t do it.

These are the best heavy duty jumper cable clamps, and are worth every penny!!! These are heavy duty in every way as they will take alot of curent for winches or battery cables.

The clamps themselves seem to be well made however if I was to redesign them I would move the cable mounting stud about 1/2 to 1 inch further up the handle because after you crimp the ring end on your cable and attach it to the clamp the cable it self is left unsupported. I don’t use my cables that often so if i have to crimp a new end on every few years I’m only losing an inch each time.

I researched so many clamps or alligator clamps for connections to battery’s that could handle high current and finally found these. These are the best I have found, but not the least expensive. I highly recommend these over any others that I have found for high current transfer. You can use these and gift them to your children and great grandchildren, as they will last for an extremely long time. Highly Recommended!!!

Es mucho mejor de lo que esperaba , la necesitaba para cables pasa corriente y es excelente en su material , el único detalle es que tuve que conseguir una terminal para conectar el cable a la pinza pero de ahí en fuera todo perfecto.

It says in the description that these are only intended for cables that already have the ring end on the cable. I have 4 gauge inverter cables with the rings and these bolted right up perfectly. It’s exactly what I wanted. They appear to be strong and well made. I can’t comment on the plastic with no experience but I’m inclined to believe the manufacturer’s claim that it is tough and durable. I’m very happy with them and it only took me under 5 minutes to install both of them. It comes with the bolt already in the clamp and a 10mm nut to attach the cable. I added a washer of my own, they should provide one. I recommend using a socket to tighten the nut because there isn’t really enough room for a wrench.

I was skeptical about these, but they’re skookum as frig. Well-made, with lots of copper in the right places, and the spring strength is awesome. Particularly impressive is the thick braided copper which connects one side of the jaws to the other, meaning current can flow through both sides of the jaws. Really nice touch. It’s great to be pleasantly surprised by a product for a change instead of seeing quality go down and down in constant search of greater profits for the sellers.
