I used it to connect my inverter to the 12V battery in my Prius for use as a backup generator.
The clamps are good quality, and springs are more than adequate to hold them in place. No complaints.
I had been using jumper cables, but this is better and keeps the wire length shorter for high currents.

They work great for my 1000W power inverter with 100AH capacity battery. no voltage drop. high current. and they stay stone cold the whole time even under the full 1000W load on the inverter.
Just wish they were a bit more flexible is all. kinda stiff cables.
