Nice Switch. I am using it as a disconnect between my batteries and the inverter on a solar setup. So far it’s been good. Feels sturdy.

Nice build but, you need to know it really has 3 “ON” positions and 1 “OFF” position. The switch has 4 positions that you can fell as you turn it. Just know that the 0 is off and 3, 6, and 9 are all on so make sure it is in the off position. The MFG should really update the face label.
The two (inputs) are eclectically the same at all times. The switch goes “closed” in all but the off position.

Does exactly what it supposed to do. I have two separate 12v battery banks that I charge with two separate charge controllers but want to once in a while combine together for big power draw needs and then sometimes draw from these battery banks separately and this switch does the trick including shutting both banks out when I need to be the case. Works awesome for my needs.

Well built, I wish it had snapping plastic tabs instead of holes on the bottom

This is one of the nicest battery disconnect switches I’ve found for an on-off switch, especially for the price. It works perfect for my lithium iron phosphate batteries/3000 watt inverter/charger. As some reviewers have noted, it did not come with attachment screws. I just purchased the screws I needed from the local hardware store.
My inverter is capable of pulling 300+amps continous under a high load, although I usually only load it to 150 amps. Infrared heat gun shows minimal heat rise with 300 amps loading this switch, negligible heat rise at 150 amp.
I’ve noticed issues with switches like this if the cable end is not securely crimped or soldered to the cable. Also, the terminals and cable ends should be cleaned with alcohol before tightening the nut to the proper torque. This helps guard against high resistance that can cause high heat, melting the switch components.
I’d recommend this switch to anyone who needs an on-off switch capable of it’s rating.

Very good

This DC electrical on/off shut-off switch is Hi-Grade and perfect for isolating (disconnecting) a battery on tractors and equipment to prevent any perisitic current draw, which could drain a battery dead. When ready to use the equipment, just turn on this switch.
It is properly installed into the positive (red) cable where it is first connected to the post. There should be no wire/cable connections between the positive post and the shut-off switch. Any connections that could drain a battery should be wired “after” this switch.

Good quality. Not those junk pot metal ones that fail a month
